Liberty LiveSM is an educational program exploring the lives of indigenous, immigrant, and enslaved populations and their influences on the eventual emergence of a new nation.

Insight into the daily lives of those inhabiting the colonies, as well as the militiamen, Continental, and British soldiers, will give participants a greater appreciation of the intricate relationships seen in the early days of America and the intrinsic and extrinsic reasons for wanting to remain under British control or become a free and independent nation.

Customizable Programming

Liberty LiveSM offers two types of programming:  School Education and Adult Education.

These programs can be customized to meet the needs of your classroom or organization and are staffed by 18th century-attired presenters with over 175 years of combined knowledge in education and living history experience.

Standards-Based Education Programming

Lessons and demonstrations are correlated to the 2019 South Carolina Social Studies College- and Career- Ready Standards set forth by the SC Dept. of Education for the 4th and 8th grades, as well as the high school course, “United States History and the Constitution”.

Class lessons and demonstrations can be adjusted to grade level, allotted time, location, participatory level, and desired instructional topic(s).
